Head Coach: Kendra Hollenbach
Kendra Hollenbach is beginning her coaching career with the Lewis Central Cheerteam in 2014. She is so excited for this opportunity and hopes to take part in helping create a dynamic program full of talented and respected athletes. Kendra has the ambition and desire to take this team as far as they can dream. She not only wants to help make this program succeed as a unit but also each member individually. Kendra accepts nothing but the best and is willing to dedicate the time and energy into each athlete to ensure they meet their full potential and can utilize their cheerleading abilities to positively affect their future as well.
Kendra Hollenbach is a 2004 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. While at TJ, she participated in their cheerleading program and competition team. During her high school cheerleading career she put in the time and energy needed to excel. Every year of Kendra’s high school career, Kendra was a nominee and recipient of the NCA All-American Award. Kendra competed in the NCA nationals in 2002 and 2004 and also many local and state competitions. Kendra was voted team captain her junior and senior year. Her senior year, Kendra was awarded the NCA All-American Leadership Award. This award was awarded to one person out of the entire camp. In 2004 and 2005 Kendra received a cheerleading scholarship to IWCC and was a member of their first competitive cheerleading program. While cheering for Liz at IWCC, she competed in the UCA National competition in Daytona Beach, FL. While continuing on with her life and education, cheerleading is something that has never escaped Kendra’s heart and she is excited and eager to put this passion to work.
After working for over seven years at a globally known and top 3 companies on the Forbe’s list in the insurance information and fraud department, Kendra was blessed with the opportunity to stay home and is now living her dream of being a full time stay at home wife and mommy. Kendra was born, raised and still residing with her family in Carter Lake. She is married to her high school sweetheart Shane. Kendra and Shane have two boys. Jayce is four and Jaxyn is one. Aside from her normal daily routine, Kendra enjoys professional weight training and is advancing her extreme knowledge in strength training and nutrition.
