Mystery at the Library, Library Clerk named Support Staff Member for October

Meet Stacy Thornton, your LCHS Media Center Clerk
Posted on 12/21/2016
STIn her first trimester at Lewis Central, Stacy has been instrumental in carrying out the development of an inviting library. She is friendly and fun. She answers questions and seeks out ways to include students and staff in the goings on of the library. She and Margie Argotsinger have transformed the library aesthetics and are working hard to make sure our supply of books is equal to the demands of multi-faceted Fiteracy.

If you need a load of books/resources related to any topic or purpose in your classes, Stacy produces a relevant and varied collection to assist your endeavors-in very little time. Students who are at a loss for what to read next need only talk to Stacy for a few moments and she can locate a likely next candidate for their reading pleasure. If you don't yet know what Stacy can do, I recommend stepping down to the library.

Stacy Thornton is, without a doubt, deserving of the recognition of Staff Member of the Month. She has brought a welcoming, energetic environment to our media center, and she truly demonstrates a "Students First" attitude. Whether she's teaching a student how to play chess, decorating the media center to celebrate special occasions, or mentoring an at-risk student serving as her Library Aide, she does so with a smile on her face and a caring, compassionate heart. Stacy is a True Titan!
