Financial Aid/FAFSA Presentation Scheduled for All Juniors and Their Parents

Money Deosn’t Grow on Trees, But it is Possible to Pay for College

Class of 2018 and Parents:  Don't miss out on $2 billion of unclaimed financial aid.  That's right:  An average of over $2 billion dollars to help students attend a two- or four-year college or an accredited trade school goes unclaimed each year.

The number one reason that $2 billion goes unclaimed is because students and their parents do not complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Completing the FAFSA is not that difficult, but there are a few "tricks of the trade" that can help make the process more efficient.

LCHS will be hosting a financial aid/FAFSA presentation for the Class of 2018 and their parents at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, in our Multipurpose Room.  The presentation is free and lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on the audience's questions. Scholarship information is also presented.

Juniors are encouraged to attend with a parent, but if either one of you can't make it, the other should still attend.  Mark your calendars and don't miss out on free money for college
