Taylor May - Teacher of the Month

While this teacher loves to run, he is not one to give you the runaround.  Just the opposite. He is one of the first people to help out when a hand is needed, and he always puts students first.  Even though he took a short break from being a Titan to teach science elsewhere, he has never stopped bleeding blue and there are few staff that are more committed to our school and students.  Taylor’s work in the classroom and in activities is a model for others to lead with relationships and never let a little thing like hard work stand in the way of success.

Please join me in congratulating Taylor May as our Teacher of the Month.

Joanna Blum - Support Staff Member of the Month

I remember when I interviewed Joanna for our Library Clerk position and hearing about her connection to Minnesota, her past experience as a language arts teacher, and the time she spent with her mother working in the library.  I knew she was the perfect fit for our library. I was blown away by her passion for reading, approach to helping students get into a book, and passion to be in the same school system as her children. None of that initial perception was wrong.  She has done a great job to promote our independent reading and make the library a place that students love to be. Even more impressive, she is another True Titan that is bleeding blue in just the short time she has been in our school community.
