Financial Aid Presentation

Financial Aid Presentation

Monday, January 7

Are you sending a student off to college next fall?  Financial aid is one of the most confusing parts of the process.  Lewis Central will host a financial aid presentation on Thursday, January 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the high school.  A representative from the Iowa College Access Network will be here to give an overview of the financial aid process.

College students must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) in order to be eligible for any type of aid, including grants, work study and even loans.  The FAFSA can be filed any time after January 1, 2015. The speaker will walk us through the FAFSA and will answer individual questions.  If you are sending your senior off to college next fall, you will find this presentation very helpful.

For more information about the Iowa College Access Network, visit their website at or you may call with questions toll free at (877) 272-4692.  The Iowa College Access Network offers several free services to students and parents.  They have a satellite office at Iowa Western.
