Student Achievement Plan

Lewis Central High School uses a data driven, collaborative process to design a yearly Student Achievement Plan. The purpose of the Student Achievement Plan is to design professional learning time for our staff that ensures that our students are receiving the best possible instruction. These plans are aligned with district goals and are focused on the unique needs of our student body. In order to meet the goals of our Student Achievement Plan, our Building Leadership Team designs professional learning targets that guide our work on early outs and other time devoted to teacher learning and collaborative work. During the 2012-2013 school year, our two major targets involved clarifying the intended learning for our students and assessing student progress during instruction.   Read Full Story

Titan Time Awards
Titan Time Awards, 2013-14

Those students receiving the Titan Time Growth Award are Gabrielle Naab (9th), James Porter (10th) and Sydney Morris (11th).  These students improved their ITED scores by 1.2 or more grade levels and were randomly selected selected from all students at their grade level who met the minimum growth level.  Those students receiving the Titan Tenacity Awards are Donovon Rocha (9th), Noah Parks (10th) and Madi Paulson (11th).  Each Titan Time teacher nominated one student who demonstrated great effort and tenacity and the three winners were selected from all Titan Time nominees.  Each winner received Skull Candy earbuds as a prize.   Please read on for comments and photos.  Read Full Story
