This year's schedule includes an "early out" every Wednesday when students are dismissed at 1:40 pm. This schedule change requires new procedures to be implemented for students staying after school during this time.  This will become effective Wednesday, August 30th at 1:50.

Early-Out Wednesday

Rules & Expectations

1. Students will be dismissed at 1:40 pm every Wednesday for this school year. All students that don’t have immediate transportation or are waiting for after-school activities are expected to be in the Commons/Lunch room by 1:50.  This will be the ONLY location students will be allowed in the building.  All other areas within the building (classrooms, POD areas, gymnasiums, weight room) will be secured.  Remember, teachers are NOT accessible after school during early outs without prior arrangements being made.

2. Students are expected to be seated at a TABLE with something constructive to do (preferably, homework or reading assignments). Talking with friends (quietly), listening to music WITH HEADPHONES (quietly) or computer usage (quietly) will be allowed until such time as it becomes disruptive.  CELLULAR phone usage will be allowed if done quietly

3. Food will be allowed within reason but will be furnished by the individual student.  All tables will be cleaned up by the student(s) should they decide to bring food. If a table is left in a messy condition, those student(s) responsible will lose their “food privileges".

4.   A student deciding NOT to follow these minimal expectations will be asked to leave the premises with no re-entry.

5. This area will be monitored by Mr. Shea, Mr. Pettit & Mr. Sharp

If you have questions concerning these new procedures, don't hesitate to contact me ASAP. Remember, this starts this Wednesday, August 30 @ 1:50 pm. Looking forward to a fantastic school year, LC.................
