Important Information and Checklist for the Start of the School Year
Dear Parent and Student,
There are several items that must be completed to ensure a successful start of the school year. To help with this process we have put together a short little “checklist” to help you with the process.
Here are some items that you should complete when preparing for a successful start of the school year:
- Complete online registration process.
- Pay all fees. Online (click here) or in person M-F 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Know needed transportation information, including any changes for bussing . Transportation website
- Know needed lunch information, including depositing money in account if eating school lunch.
- Reviewed class schedule. Remember the last day to drop a class is August 28th.
- Chromebook information completed and prepared for the week of school. This would include the Acceptable Usage Policy and Chromebook Expectations
- Parking pass - plan to register your vehicle and pick up your parking pass during the first week of school
- Reviewed Student Handbook. Expectations are in effect the first day of school.
- Reviewed Dress Code Expectations. Expectations are in effect the first day of school.
- Know the schedule for the first day and second day of school.
- If applicable, review the Freshman and New Student Orientation Information.
- Plan for your student's school picture to be taken on August 27th during the school day
- Have general school supplies that may include: (Teachers will let you know if additional items for particular classes are needed.)

- Thoroughly reviewed each of the syllabi for our current courses.
- Use the “Calendar” on to always know the must current date, time and location of activities
- 2020 School Year
- Plan accordingly to avoid conflicts with the school calendar. Please keep in mind that “finals” are the last two days of the trimester.
- Periodically check the webpage for new information and a calendar of events.
