January Teacher of the Month - Sara Langdon

A teacher who exemplifies a true Titan educator is Sara Langdon.  The first characteristic that everyone notices is her smile and happy demeanor.  She gets up early every day so that she can work out before school, so when she walks in the door at 7:00 a.m. she is a ball of positive energy.  This enthusiasm lasts all day! Students love her vocal music classes, and the vocal performances demonstrate hard work, effort, attention to detail, expertise, skill, and a passion for music.

Sara is not only a dedicated classroom teacher, but she has been involved in numerous building level committees.  She has served on the building leadership team, co-lead a study group, and volunteered to help at other events. She can often be found at school working late and leading practices with the students.

She is knowledgeable, talented, dedicated, and professional.  She is also fun to be around, and her positive outlook on life is contagious.

January Support Staff Member of the Month - George Igor

The first day on the job last year, George Igor was all in.  He introduced himself to the teachers in the 200 pod, he asked if there was anything we wanted done, and his friendly demeanor showed that he was approachable.  Since that first day, George has continued to work hard, stayed positive, and proved that he is a team player. When I moved into a different classroom, I had some special requests, and George's response was prompt and efficient.  He connects with people on a professional yet personal level. He was in the military and served in Vietnam. He's a family man, and he is an all around good guy. The teachers in the 200 pod definitely appreciate and value his work.
