Parents,

It feels like fall!  That’s right, we are entering fall, and school is still going strong.  As we finish up our eighth week of school, we can’t help but feel we have a lot to celebrate.  I would be lying to you if I said I knew we would have had the success we have had to this point with our mitigation efforts and all aspects of school.  Think about these statements after 8 weeks of school:

  • Zero cases of Covid-19 being spread at school or school activity

  • Currently we have less than 5 positive cases among all students and staff

  • We are beyond the halfway point of the trimester and completed our first Parent-Teacher Conferences

  • Activities are entering post-season play

  • No significant issues with our mitigation requirements for face coverings, etc. from students, staff or community members

All school communities say they love their school, but do you love your school enough to make tough choices to keep it running?  That is the real test of your school spirit: not just wearing blue and white, but are you and your family members making choices to help keep our students in school and in their activities?  For our LCHS community, the answer is clearly YES and for that we all want to say THANK YOU!

Stay safe this weekend and let’s keep this success happening, because it is not about luck, it is about all of us making choices that keep us safe and in school.

Proud to be a Titan!
